The American Sewing Guild (ASG) is a national non-profit organization founded in 1978 to promote and preserve the sewing arts and provide a support organization for sewing enthusiasts. The Guild is a network of chapters where sewing friends representing all types of sewing, needlearts and all levels of sewing experience come together for educational, social and philanthropic activities. Chapter events may include local and national educators at lectures, workshops, fashion shows and sewing retreats. At the heart of each chapter are smaller, informal groups based on location or special interests. Promote ASG to your friends. Ask a friend to join you at one of the Neighborhood Group meetings. They may like it and want to become a member. ASG...Sew Much Fun!!!
