| Lots of stuff and the price is right! |
This past Wednesday, the Sewphisticuts conducted some spring cleaning to freshen up their sewing stashes. Everyone brought something - fabric, notions, patterns, books - that needed a new home. Whether it was patterns that were no longer (or had never been) used, fabric that hadn't been touched in a while or forgotten about (I plead guilty to that one), or notions left over from previous projects, all of us had something that we thought might be more useful to another. The only real rule was that anything left over at the end of the meeting had to go home with the original owner. While some of us had the intent of reducing the size of our stashes, several of us went home with more than we brought! Based on the amount of stuff we had, and what had to go back home with each of us, we concluded that perhaps a chapter-wide yard sale is in order!
